If music were a house, it would be easy to say rhythm would be its foundation. Houses that last need a good, strong foundation. Being able to understand and harness basic rhythm skills is essential for anyone who desire to advance in their musical journey.

There is no question about the next statement you are going to read: without doubt, THE most elemental building block to a fulfilling and successful music journey is the ability to harness rhythm (a close second is pitch recognition).
