Artist Statement
My freehand work explores dynamic tension between the geometric shape of the circle triangle, and square, using the fundamental art element of line. When placed over a central point of focus, these fundamental shapes often form intricate and complex geometric patterns.
The points and edges of these shapes and patterns may be connected to form arcs and two dimensional trajectories, which imitate the amazing and inspiring designs we find in nature. This natural design is intelligent as it spirals from the tiniest of microscopic matter to the continuing expansion of the universe.
The greatest songbook of all times includes this lyric: The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. -Psalm 19:1.
My sacred shapes drawings reflect my deepest adoration to the Creator and his Christ.
