Take Your Place

Processional

The Episcopal Church caught me off guard. The Liturgy and symbolism really captured my intrigue. I readily embraced the meaningful idea of inviting the welcomed Christ into the midst of a gathered and broken people who acknowledge their individual and collective need of help. 

As a brand new worshipper in the Episcopal tradition, the Processional is only one of the elements of the liturgy that attracted my attention as an artist. How the arts are so beautifully displayed and portrayed in the symbolisms and sacraments (the outward and visible signs of the inward spiritual reality). Creativity took an unexpected turn in my mind as I reflected the sincerity, excitement, and hunger of the worshipers at Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church in DeLand FL.
